I'm trying to get back into web development and specifically want to focus on improving my skills in TypeScript, React, and Next.js. Do you guys have any good resources that are free? I prefer options that are interactive rather than just watching tutorials on YouTube.

For TypeScript, the official documentation is actually pretty interactive and good! If you want something more structured, Matt Pocock’s "Total TypeScript" offers free workshops on his site—great if you want to avoid YouTube. As for Next.js, I suggest building a small project like a simple blog while you read through the docs. The 'learn' section on nextjs.org is also excellent and you can cover a lot in just a couple of days.

I recommend checking out Scrimba. It's a great platform because you actually write code right in the lessons rather than just watching someone else do it. They have solid courses on React and Next.js that include real projects, which is super helpful.

Don't forget that generative AI can be a handy tool in your learning process! It can assist you in coding and provide quick answers to questions you might have.

If you're thinking about building a frontend mentor clone, that sounds like a neat idea! It could really help you solidify your full-stack skills too. Just keep experimenting and building, that's the best way to learn!

Educative is another solid choice. It’s fully interactive and more structured compared to just random tutorials. For TypeScript, Total TypeScript remains one of the best. But really, alongside using platforms, I suggest building a small Next.js project. That practical experience will help refresh your skills really quickly!
