Looking for Hosting Alternatives After My Azure Credits Expired

Hey everyone, I just found out that my Azure for Startups credit expired today, and I still have over $10,000 left out of the $25,000 they initially offered. Azure won't extend my credits to let me use them up, which is frustrating because I need around 4-6 months of support before I can raise more funds. It's odd that they don't extend credits if I'm not funded by one of their partners. I'm looking for any hosting alternative suggestions you might have!

You might want to connect directly to Microsoft or reach out to someone who might help. Sometimes you never know what support options are available unless you ask!

You might consider applying for credits with AWS or check out Oracle, which is currently the cheapest cloud provider. They might work out well for you!

I'm burning $3,000 a month on Azure right now. Maybe moving new servers to Oracle while keeping production on Azure could be a safer option. Thanks for the suggestion! I've looked into Oracle and they seem to have great rates.

If you're in the market for cloud services, AWS can be a solid alternative. But if you're looking for something more affordable, I'd suggest shared hosting like Asphostportal—they have a good reputation and reasonable pricing.

I heard AWS offers $5,000 in credits, but honestly, migrating everything from Azure to AWS doesn't seem worth it since I still have $11,000 in Azure credits. It’s pretty annoying that the expiration date has passed.
