Looking for Recommendations on Ergonomic Office Chairs for Back Pain

I've been dealing with some serious lower back pain lately, and I think my cheap gaming chair is to blame. Since I spend long hours at my desk, I'm ready to invest in a high-quality ergonomic office chair that can genuinely help support my back. My budget is around $700. Does anyone have suggestions for good ergonomic chairs within that price range?

If you're looking for a solid chair, the Steelcase Leap is amazing! You can often find it for under $400 on Craigslist in larger cities, and it’s by far my favorite ergonomic chair. Absolutely nothing compares to it.

I totally agree! The Leap is my go-to chair as well, can't recommend it enough!

Definitely check out Steelcase chairs. Just make sure there's a return policy in case it doesn't work out for you! I tried one before, but it didn't suit my needs, even though many people rave about it. Testing in a store can really help too.

I had spinal fusions and went for the Steelcase Leap V2 from Crandall Office Furniture. It has been great for my back. You might want to check it out if you need something supportive.

Consider getting a used Aeron chair. I've been using one for years and got it for about $500 on eBay from a trusted seller. It's honestly a game changer for back support, especially compared to those gaming chairs which aren't built for long hours. Highly recommended!

I bought a Herman Miller Mirra 2 about 25 years ago. It’s held up great and isn’t as pricey as the Aeron. It has a nice mesh back, which I prefer over fabric. It's worth checking out, but it might be above your budget unless you find a used one.
