Looking for Recommendations on Web Hosting for My Personal Website

Hey everyone! I'm trying to find the best web hosting service for my personal website. The site will be using PHP for the backend without any frameworks and MySQL for the database. I expect to have around 50 concurrent users at most, but who really knows?

I'm after something that's easy to use, affordable, flexible, and reliable. By the way, I'm not a fan of WordPress, so I won't be using that.

I've done a bit of research and found that Hostinger might be a decent option, but I'd love to hear more opinions. Any recommendations would be really helpful! Thanks in advance!

For a simple LAMP setup, you've got plenty of great options! You're unlikely to run into any major issues, so just pick whichever service you're comfy with. Just keep scalability in mind if you want to add more features down the line—consider how easy it is to move away from a service if you need to later.

AWS Lightsail is a great pick! You can set up a LAMP server for just a few bucks a month, and they often have free trials for new users.

If your website is primarily static, you might want to explore options like GitHub Pages, Vercel, or Cloudflare Pages. They could be perfect for your needs!

I'm a big fan of Hostinger! Their user panel is really intuitive, and you can get a site up and running in just a few clicks. Plus, their prices are quite affordable, even without any discounts.

NixiHost could be exactly what you're looking for. Their shared hosting plans are reliable and should easily support your setup. I've been with them for 3 years now, and their pricing has remained consistent with no surprise increases. They also offer free migrations and work seamlessly with cPanel, making management super simple.

Just throwing some other names in the hat: Linode, DigitalOcean, Hetzner, and Oracle are all solid choices too!

If you have a solid fiber connection at home, you could even consider hosting the site yourself!
