Hey everyone! Our small business has decided we want to set up 3 TVs that can display a mix of different data like live graphs, birthdays, sales figures, announcements, and more. Until now, we've been using static methods like updating a PowerPoint on a USB stick or running a browser-based spreadsheet on an old laptop. Now, I'm trying to find a better solution that doesn't cost a lot. I've checked out display board software like Xibo and Anthias, but they seem too complex for our needs. I'm looking for something more straightforward and easy to use, ideally a 'nocode' solution that could run on an old laptop or a Raspberry Pi. I thought about using SharePoint, but I'm not sure how effective it will be. Any thoughts on using SharePoint for this task or other recommendations?

Have you looked into Vivi? It’s not just for schools, despite what their marketing says. I've found it to be user-friendly and effective for various settings!
If you're looking for simplicity, check out FullPageOS on GitHub. It can run on a Raspberry Pi and just displays a webpage that you can refresh regularly. You can create a webpage to show the content you want, and it’s pretty flexible!
Yodeck could be a great fit! They have a reasonably priced base subscription per screen, and if you order through them, they offer a Raspberry Pi as a player. Super easy to manage and supports loads of display options!
Honestly, just consider paying for something like MVIX. Trying to set up everything yourself can be a hassle, and many services limit access to their data if you’re not using their software. It might save you time and frustration in the long run.
BrightSign is also a fantastic option for digital displays. They offer a lot of features that could fit your needs perfectly!
Yeah, Yodeck is solid, especially since you can bring your own Pi! It really takes a lot of the hassle out of setup.
