Hey everyone! I recently completed my first PC build, but I ran into a concerning issue. When I turned it on and checked the BIOS, the CPU temperature was sitting at a whopping 88 degrees! That seems way too high, right? Here are some of the specs I found in the BIOS: the CPU fan is running at 1641 RPM, the AIO pump is at 2743 RPM, and the CHA3 fan is at 2089 RPM. The CPU core voltage is showing 1.439V. I'm starting to think that maybe the thermal paste wasn't applied correctly or there might be a problem with the contact between the cooler and the CPU. Any insights on what could be causing this high temperature?

First things first, have you checked the CPU temperature when it's idle? It might be worth seeing if that number goes down when the system isn't under load. High temps can sometimes be temporary due to background processes.
What do you mean by 'idle'? Are you asking about the temperature when I'm not running any programs?
