Need Help Choosing Parts for My New Gaming PC Build

Hey everyone! I'm looking to build a gaming PC as it's been 10 years since my last upgrade (I only changed the GPU). My old CPU (i7-4790k) isn't cutting it anymore, and I'm ready for a refresh. I've got a budget of around £2000, but I might spend a bit more if it's worth it.

This new build will mainly focus on gaming, but I also dabble in some light image editing and create gaming videos (nothing demanding like 3D rendering). Currently, I'm using a Gigabyte G27F monitor, which is 1080p at 144Hz. I'm okay gaming at 1080p/60fps for now, but I'd like my new setup to handle 1440p/120fps for future upgrades.

Here's what I have in mind for my build:
- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
- **Cooler:** Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE
- **Motherboard:** Asus ROG STRIX B650E-F GAMING WIFI
- **RAM:** Corsair Vengeance RGB 32 GB DDR5-6000
- **Storage:** Samsung 990 Pro 2 TB NVMe SSD
- **GPU:** Asus TUF GAMING OC Radeon RX 9070 XT
- **Case:** Corsair Carbide Series 400C
- **Power Supply:** Corsair RM1000x 1000W

The total comes to about £1818.77, and I want to make sure everything works well together. Any advice on my parts or anything I might be missing? Thanks in advance!

You might want to consider downgrading your GPU for now and putting that budget toward a better monitor. Your current setup won't really utilize the full potential of the 9800X3D with a 1080p monitor. A good compromise would be a 7600x with a 5070Ti instead. It’d be more balanced overall!

Thanks for the suggestion! I plan on upgrading the monitor eventually. What specs should I aim for? Aiming for something like 1440p, 120Hz+?
