Why is my PC so slow after a factory reset?

Hey everyone, I recently did a factory reset on my PC using a flash drive with the Windows installer, but now it's crawling with slow load times. It takes a long while to start up and even longer - like over 30 seconds - to open any application, including the browser. I've tried a lot of things to troubleshoot this problem:

- Updated my GPU and chipset drivers.
- Made sure I've got the latest version of Windows 11.
- Cleared out most of my startup programs.
- Verified that the PC is booting from the SSD.
- Changed my power settings to "best performance" both in settings and in File Explorer.
- Ran a RAM check, and it showed no issues.
- Used CHKDSK to check my storage, which also came back clear.

I might have overlooked something small, but these are the main things I've done. I posted on another forum but didn't get any responses, so I'm really hoping someone here has some insight. My PC was performing well before the reset, so I'm not sure what went wrong. If nothing helps, I might have to head over to Best Buy or Microcenter for help. Any suggestions would be super helpful!

Have you tried reinstalling Windows yet? It might seem a bit redundant, but sometimes doing a fresh install again can clear up weird issues that pop up after a reset. Just make sure to back everything up first, just in case! Let me know if that's what you meant or if you were thinking of a different reinstall method.

Thanks for the tip! I did look into reinstalling, but it said I was already on the latest version. Are you suggesting I go for another factory reset, or is there a different reinstall option I should be considering?
