Weird Global Traffic on My Website—What’s Going On?

I run a local property service company, but I've been puzzled by my website's traffic. Each day, I notice visits from random countries like Singapore, the USA, Oman, Ireland, and Germany. Sometimes, these visits show up as if they originated from Google Ads campaigns that I've actually turned off. Other times, they're tagged as direct entries or come from organic Google searches. There's a specific tracking code, ?x=29484467382689, that appears frequently with visits from places like Falkenstein, Germany, and Ashburn, USA. I don't use this code anywhere, and my backlinks don't show any usage of it either. Is this normal, or should I be concerned?

Webcrawlers are pretty common and tend to hit many websites, including yours. It sounds like a lot of what you're seeing might just be bots scraping your content or checking your site for various reasons.

So this amount of traffic isn’t anything to be worried about? I thought it was odd since my SiteGround plugin tracks traffic and labels some as human and others as bots. Maybe it’s just misreporting, haha.
