Hi everyone!

I'm running a small IT consulting business and I'm looking to enhance our remote monitoring and management (RMM) capabilities without overspending. I'm particularly interested in free or low-cost, cloud-based solutions that are reliable for basic tasks like monitoring, patching, and remote access.

I've been considering options like NinjaOne, Atera, and various free tiers from other providers, but the costs can quickly rise once I need more than just the basic features.

What tools are you all using? If you've found any hidden gems that perform really well, I'd love to hear about them! Also, any nightmare experiences that I should avoid? Thanks for your help!

Check out Action1! They've got a free tier for up to 200 devices, which is pretty generous. We’re currently using NinjaOne, and I can’t complain about its reliability at all. It works perfectly for our setup.

We also use Action1 across 30 clients, and it’s been very good. Plus, we use it internally to monitor and manage various applications— it’s super reliable and easy to work with!

You should definitely look into TacticalRMM. It’s been a solid tool for a lot of users. It's free and does quite a bit without the hefty price tag.
