I'm looking for recommendations on the best headphones for gaming on PC that are priced around $100. Any suggestions that balance good sound quality and comfort would be appreciated!

Astro headsets could work well too, look for whichever ones fall around that price point. They’re popular in the gaming community for a reason!
If you're open to wired options and don’t mind sacrificing the mic, the Razer BlackShark V2 X usually gives solid audio and mic quality for the price. But honestly, if pure sound quality is your priority, go for the Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro (220 ohm). You might be able to find a used pair within your budget; they’re fantastic, but new can be a bit higher around $150.
The Simgot EP5 is another option worth checking out for gaming; it’s gained some decent reviews for its performance.
If you're not concerned about having a microphone, many recommend going for in-ear monitors (IEMs) as they often provide much better audio quality in that price range.
Consider the Philips SHP9600 or SHP9500 paired with a V-Moda BoomPro mic. It gives you great sound quality along with a decent mic option if you need it!

Yeah, those Beyerdynamics are really good! Just keep in mind they might need a good amp to get the most out of them.
