What could be causing the delay in my AWS SES production access approval?

Hey everyone! I applied for production access for Amazon SES for my domain in the ap-south-1 region about a week ago, but I haven't heard anything back yet. The AWS documentation says I should get a response within 24 hours, but it's been several days. I also submitted another request in the us-east-1 region a couple of days ago, and I'm still waiting for a reply. I made sure to include all the necessary details in my support ticket. Is this normal? Is there something I might have missed in the process? I really need production access soon to keep my email services running for my product. Any tips or thoughts would be super helpful. Thanks!

Sorry to hear about the wait! Delays can be frustrating. It’s not uncommon for AWS support to take longer than expected, especially if they need to review your case in detail. You might want to follow up on your ticket to check the status. Also, sometimes providing additional context or information in your case can help expedite the process.

From what I've seen, if your previous projects have raised any red flags (like spam-related tools), it could be a reason for the delay. AWS is pretty strict about maintaining their IP reputation. Maybe double-check your past usage and ensure you’re following all the best practices. Best of luck!
