I'm not very experienced with PC building, but I'm looking to upgrade my gaming rig that's about four years old. Lately, I've been noticing some frame rate drops while playing newer games, particularly Battlefield 6. Here's my current setup:
- CPU: Intel Core i5-11400
- Motherboard: Asus TUF GAMING B560-PLUS WIFI
- RAM: 16GB
- Graphics Card: MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Ti

I'm curious about what components I should prioritize upgrading or changing to get better performance. Any advice would be much appreciated!

Your setup actually seems pretty solid for Battlefield 6, but I’d suggest that your RAM might be holding you back. 16GB is on the lower end nowadays, especially for newer titles. If you're experiencing drops primarily when there are a lot of elements on screen, it might be worth looking into upgrading to 32GB. Also, check your graphics settings—sometimes lowering them can make a big difference in performance without needing to upgrade.

I totally agree! Increasing your RAM is definitely a cost-effective way to see improvement. And don’t forget to optimize your in-game settings; even small tweaks can lead to smoother gameplay!
