I have a HackerRank interview coming up for a DevOps position where I'll be solving problems in front of the interviewer. This is my first time doing something like this, so I'm curious about the types of questions I might face. Any tips or experiences to share?

From what I've seen, the questions could be similar to those found on LeetCode, like basic algorithm challenges—think along the lines of FizzBuzz. But it really depends. Sometimes the hiring manager will give you a heads-up on the focus.
Thanks for the insight! The hiring manager didn’t clarify much, so I'm a bit nervous about what to prepare for. I'll definitely brush up on FizzBuzz.
You might encounter easy to medium level questions inspired by LeetCode. It can be frustrating since many of us don’t solve problems like that in our roles. I’ve faced that challenge in several DevOps interviews, but good luck!
I appreciate it! I'm really grateful for your support—this is my first round of external DevOps interviews, and I'm feeling the pressure. Your words help me feel more grounded. Thanks again!
For DevOps roles, expect practical questions that center on scripting, Linux command-line skills, and potentially some cloud-related tasks. They’re mostly interested in how you approach problems and articulate your reasoning, rather than expecting perfect solutions.
Thanks a lot for the advice! That definitely eases some of my worries.

I've done a couple of HackerRank interviews too. One was really focused on the practical side of DevOps, involving architectural questions. The other was all about simple coding challenges, and honestly, it felt pointless. I didn't get the offer on that one.
