What Training Can Help Me Get Started in System Administration?

Hey everyone! I work for a small company that relies on outsourced IT services, and I'm the main point of contact for our vendor. I'm looking to save some money by taking on some smaller IT tasks myself instead of depending on our managed services. Is there a good curriculum or training program you'd recommend to help me grasp the fundamentals of system administration? At the very least, I want to learn enough IT jargon so that I can understand what our IT providers are telling me. Thanks for any guidance!

It’s kind of funny you're looking for a crash course to handle IT tasks to save money! Honestly, if this is a priority for your company, it might be worth considering hiring someone with real IT experience. But if you still want to learn, there are lots of resources out there!
