I'm looking for a simple way to create a bootable USB disk on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS. I used to do this easily with Rufus on my old laptop, but I'm having trouble finding a good alternative or a tutorial for Linux. Any advice would be appreciated!

If you prefer a GUI tool, you can try Fedora Media Writer. It's user-friendly and should get the job done. Just make sure you have the ISO ready!
For creating the bootable disk, you'll need to right-click and use the built-in options. Also, don't forget to change the boot order in your BIOS settings to boot from the USB. Make sure to have the ISO file on the USB stick, as you'll go through the Ubuntu setup after that.
Have you checked out Ventoy? It's a popular tool that allows you to just drag and drop the ISO files you want to use. Perfect for trying out different distros without much hassle!
Could you share a video tutorial? I tried using Ventoy, but I'm a bit lost on how to get it to work.
