Hey everyone! I'm having a frustrating issue with League of Legends. I used to play it a lot a few years back and recently decided to jump back in. I'm used to playing games like Valorant and CS2 where I get around 300-500 FPS, and I also play other titles like EA 25, NBA 2K, and Phasmophobia at solid 240 FPS. However, in League, I start off with around 400 FPS, but it drops to below 100 FPS pretty quickly—around 110 FPS by the 1:30 mark, and it gets even worse during fights. My setup is decent: I have a Ryzen 7 5700X, RX 6600, and 32GB of 3400MHz RAM. I've reset my PC and even installed League on my SSD, plus I've closed other apps while playing, but nothing seems to fix the performance issue. My CPU and GPU aren't even hitting 30% usage. It's just League that's giving me this headache. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I'm experiencing something similar. I have a Ryzen 7 5700X and RTX 4070 Super, and my FPS dips to around 80 on League too. I think it might be an issue with Windows itself, possibly a setting or a background process affecting performance.
You might want to check your in-game settings. Sometimes lowering the resolution or tweaking the graphics settings can help boost FPS significantly. It's counterintuitive, but it might clear up some of that lag you're seeing.
That just doesn't make sense, though. If the other games run fine, why should he lower the settings in League?
Have you tried reinstalling Windows? I did that, and the issue persisted, but it might be worth checking what version you're on.
