I closed my AWS account last year, but I noticed that my credit card is still being charged. Can anyone help me understand why this might be happening?

If you're certain nothing was running after you closed the account, you could consider disputing the charge with your credit card provider.
Have you checked if there's possibly another AWS account linked to your card? It's a good idea to monitor your statements closely or even consider canceling the card to prevent further charges.
Sorry to hear you're having trouble with billing! Check out this link for more info on unexpected charges: http://go.aws/resources-unexpected-charges. If you still need help, reaching out to AWS Support through their contact form might be a good idea: http://go.aws/account-support.
You might want to look into the AWSNuke tool; it's designed to clean up your AWS resources if you plan to completely erase everything. Just a thought!
When you close your AWS account, you might still incur charges if you didn't delete all your resources, like backups or data storage. AWS can charge for up to 90 days for these services. Make sure you've completely shut everything down and deleted any remaining data.

Much thanks to everyone who responded! This really helps.
