Why Are Some Songs Sounding Garbled When I Burn CDs on My Mac?

Hey everyone, I'm having trouble burning CDs on my Mac using an LG slim DVD burner and CD-R discs. Most of the songs turn out fine, but a few of them come out sounding garbled. I've tried burning through iTunes, Finder, and Express Burn NHC, but the issue persists with those same tracks. The audio files sound normal on my computer, but the problem only happens once I burn them onto a CD. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

Another thing to check is the encoding of your MP3 files. If they're encoded with a variable bitrate, it can lead to issues when burning. Try to find a version of the track that's encoded at a fixed bitrate, like 128kbps, and see if that helps!

It might be the discs you're using. Are the garbled songs the same tracks each time? If so, that could be a hint! Sometimes the quality of the CD-R discs can affect the burn process too.
