Why Can’t I Download Large Files Over 1GB?

I'm having trouble downloading large .rar files that are around 4GB. At first, everything seems fine, but after about 10 seconds, the download speed drops significantly and the estimated completion time rises. Sometimes it just says 'Resuming' indefinitely, or it restarts without actually downloading anything, claiming it'll take 10 hours or more. Occasionally, the download just fails and shows an error message. I'm wondering if this could be related to a virus, a Windows 10 issue, or perhaps a problem with the Brave browser. I've also tried downloading in various other browsers, but I keep encountering the same problem. Any suggestions?

Have you tried checking your task manager while downloading? If your network usage is low during those slowdowns, that could point to a different issue. Closing other programs that use the internet might also help.

I've faced this issue too! Switching from Chrome to Firefox helped me a lot, plus I only downloaded one file at a time. It might also be something with the download source itself causing the slowdown.
