Why Did Google Flag My Searches as Unusual Traffic?

I was trying to come up with a riddle related to secret places, such as synonyms for words like "secret", "vault", or "confidential room". After a while, Google flagged my activity as unusual, and I had to verify I wasn't a robot. Is this a serious issue? Am I being tracked in some way? Could this be a sign of malware or something else? Or is it simply due to the nature of my repetitive searches? Just for context, my riddle hints at a secret entry leading to a basement vault in a video game.

It sounds like it probably isn't anything to worry about. Many users share the same public IP, especially if you’re on a VPN or if your ISP uses CGNAT. If someone else using the same IP is doing something sketchy, Google just wants a way to verify the traffic, which is why you got that captcha.

Does that mean it could've been caused by someone else on the private wifi network?
