I have a TCL TV that keeps starting up with a web browser open, often on the Bing homepage or an Amazon login page. Neither my partner nor I have ever used the TV to browse the internet, which raises concerns that someone might have accessed it remotely. I'm looking for explanations as to why this is happening and what I can do about it.

I can assure you that there's probably no one hacking into your TV. It might just be a bug or a glitch with the TV software. Have you checked if the browser is signed in to any account? That could be worth looking into!
Honestly, it sounds really strange! Have you considered checking the settings? It might just be some kind of automatic feature. Have you checked if the browser is logged into anything?
I feel you! I also have a TCL TV, and occasionally it does weird stuff too. Just keep an eye on it; if it persists, I would maybe consider reaching out to TCL support.
Could you try unplugging the TV for a bit? Sometimes a hard reset can clear out odd behaviors and might help stop it from opening the browser on start.
