Why is Google.com showing a “your connection is not private” error on my PC?

Hey everyone! I've been facing a frustrating issue lately. Whenever I try to access Google.com on my Windows 10 PC using my home internet, I get this annoying message saying, "your connection is not private", along with an Error: net::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID. This has been happening for a few months now, and it's not just in one browser—I'm seeing it in both Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge.

To give you more context:
- I also have trouble uploading videos to YouTube when using my PC with the same internet.
- This error pops up when I try to open links from my Gmail as well.
- Interestingly, I can access all other websites without issues, and I can get onto Google.com just fine using my phone on the same home internet, or even by using my phone's hotspot.

I've done some troubleshooting on my own like clearing cookies and cache, and I made sure my date and time settings are set to automatically sync. If anyone has any ideas or needs additional information, please let me know! Thanks for your help!

I had a similar issue before. It might be worth checking your antivirus settings or any firewall software too. Sometimes they can interfere with the security certificates and cause those types of errors. You might need to adjust those settings or even temporarily disable them to test.

It sounds like you're dealing with a certificate issue. Try checking the padlock icon in the browser's address bar when you visit Google.com. Click on it and look at the certificate details to see if it was issued for Google by a trusted certificate authority. If it's showing something like Skyworth Digital instead, that could be the problem!

Hey, don't worry if you're feeling a bit lost! You might also want to try flushing your DNS cache, which can sometimes solve these connection issues. Just open your command prompt and type 'ipconfig /flushdns'. Then restart your browser and see if that helps!
