Are Alarm Issues Getting Worse on Phones?

I've been dealing with a frustrating issue where my phone alarms don't make any sound, and it seems to be getting worse lately. It feels like almost every alarm I set, including timers, is silent when it goes off. I even bought an actual alarm clock to avoid being late to work. Is this a common problem for others, or is something wrong with just my phone?

Have you tried disabling the 'attention aware' feature? I read somewhere that if your phone can see your face while it's on the nightstand, it might think you’re awake and skip the sound. Might be worth a shot!

I experienced problems when I initially started using sleep alarms, but now they seem reliable. You might want to make sure you aren't setting any alarms to 'Stop Music' by mistake, or see if an app is interfering with audio. That could be causing the alarms to not sound off.

I've seen similar complaints! On my iPhone 13, alarms fail to sound sometimes, but it could also be a software glitch. Make sure your iOS is updated and check your alarm settings just to be safe!

You're not alone! I've got the same issue with my phone and Apple Watch. Sometimes the alarm just doesn’t go off, and it drives me crazy. The interface shows that the alarm is active, but there's no sound or vibration. It's so frustrating!

Yeah, that's exactly what's been happening to me too. It's been more frequent lately, which is really concerning.

I haven't faced this issue at all! I use my alarms daily, and they're always reliable. It could be an issue specific to certain devices or software settings. Have you checked if your system volume is turned down accidentally? That might be it!
