I recently bought a new monitor for my gaming setup, but I just realized it doesn't have an Aux port for sound. However, it does have a USB port. I found a USB to Aux cable online, but I'm not sure if it would work to connect speakers to the monitor. Just to clarify, I don't have a PC to connect it with, which is the main reason I'm looking for this solution.

First, what are you trying to do? Does your monitor even have built-in speakers? If you’re using separate speakers, they won’t work through the USB port.
Yeah, I have separate speakers and I was just hoping to get them to play sounds from the monitor.
