How Can I Fix My Low Audio Volume on Nobara Linux?

Hey everyone! I'm having trouble with my audio setup on Nobara Linux, which is based on Fedora. I use a wired headset that connects through a 3.5mm jack. My motherboard has Nahimic audio, but the sound is way too quiet, and I can't boost the volume beyond 153% using pavucontrol. It also sounds overly bass-boosted and earrapy, which is pretty frustrating. I'm using KDE Plasma too, in case that's relevant. I've already tried reinstalling Nobara and testing it in a live environment, but that didn't help, and I've also messed around with alsamixer without success. I don't see any error messages, but I'm really looking for solutions tailored for Fedora. Just a heads-up, I might take some time to reply!

When you were in alsamixer, did you try selecting your sound card by pressing F6? Sometimes the volume settings aren't clear, and if the underlying card volume is low, it can affect everything else. Make sure to adjust the volumes there just to make sure you're maximizing what's possible.

I did press F6, but I'm not really sure which option corresponds to my actual sound card. I played with the master volume, which had some effect, but the other options didn't seem to change anything. I find alsamixer pretty confusing!
