I'm looking for a way to ensure that certain tasks in Windows Task Scheduler, particularly the one that shuts down my computer at night, can't be disabled. My tendency to procrastinate often leads me to disable this task, and I want to find a solution that keeps me from doing that.

Honestly, I think you should just let your PC go to sleep instead of shutting it down at night. It's more energy-efficient, and you won’t have to deal with this issue at all.
You can use Group Policy if you're on Windows Pro or above. Navigate to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Task Scheduler and enable the "Prevent task shutdown" setting. Don't forget to deny "Change schedule" permissions for your user. This should help keep your procrastination in check!
Are you looking to make the task literally impossible to disable? If so, it might not work unless you're completely locked out as an admin, which sounds complicated. What's your real goal here?

I don't have access to Group Policy since I'm on Windows 11 Home. I tried using a tool called Policy Plus, but it lacks the "Prevent task shutdown" option. Any alternative suggestions?
