I'm really frustrated because my Windows 11 keeps automatically adjusting my sound mixer settings, and it's doing a terrible job at it. Every week I have to go back and manually readjust everything. I've already tried disabling multiple settings, including the Communications setting, but it still changes my sound levels. It's annoying to watch the volume level fluctuate when I open the mixer. Does anyone have any tips to fix this?

I don't use Windows 11 myself, but I've heard in previous versions there was a setting in the Control Panel under sounds where you could enable audio enhancements on your default speakers. If you have Realtek or a similar driver, maybe check for those options?
Have you checked if there's any audio software running in the background that might be causing this issue? Sometimes, those can interfere with volume settings without you realizing it.
No, that's the weird part! I don't have any special audio software installed at all.
If the settings don't seem to stick even after you've adjusted them, you might want to look into updates for your audio driver. Those updates can sometimes fix strange issues like this.
It sounds like Windows is automatically adjusting your volume based on some criteria. Have you checked your BIOS settings or any other audio management software on your system? Sometimes these can cause unexpected behavior.

I actually tried disabling audio enhancements based on some online advice, but it didn't help.
