Is My Second PC Build Missing Anything Important?

I'm building my second PC and trying to keep the cost around $2,500. You can check out my build here: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/kG4dXf. I'm hoping to get the RAM a bit cheaper on eBay. I play a variety of games, including VR, and I'm planning to invest in Steam Frame in the future. I would love feedback on my build and whether I missed anything major. I'm not extremely tech-savvy, but I'm enjoying the process!

Your build looks great to me! One thing to consider is having a separate SSD for your operating system. It could help keep things organized, especially with games cluttering up your main drive. Not sure if that’s a concern with SSDs as much, but it’s something to think about!

Is that really necessary? I just built my first PC and loaded everything on a single 2TB SSD without issues.

Your setup seems pretty solid! A couple of thoughts:
- Your 850W PSU is good, but if you can, consider an upgrade to a 1200W Platinum. It gives you more headroom for components and operates efficiently at around 50% load. It can handle future upgrades like a 5090 comfortably.
- As for the Samsung PRO 1TB SSD, it's a great choice! But keep in mind that heavy gaming and VR could fill that up quickly. Maybe think about getting the 2TB version instead if your budget allows. Just my two cents! But you've got a great build here!

I’d recommend getting a 5080 if you can find it at a lower price—it’s a solid performer!

Yeah, I just snagged one by keeping an eye on sales. Totally worth it!

If you have a Costco or Microcenter nearby, check them out! You might find a 2TB drive and a 5080 GPU for around your budget. Not sure if you're in the EU, but it could be a great option if you're close to one of those stores.
