It's worth noting that Silex and Symfony are both development frameworks, while Wix and Squarespace are content management systems (CMS), so they serve different purposes. How experienced are you with PHP? If you're comfortable building from scratch, Symfony or even Laravel might suit your needs well.
Thanks for the info! I actually have no programming experience yet. I was looking for something simple with drag and drop features to create a basic static website for free. Wix and Squarespace offer that, which is why I'm a bit lost on what alternatives to use since Silex also mentioned drag and drop capabilities.
