Weird Voices Coming From My Earphones – Anyone Experienced This?

I've been thinking about some strange experiences I had around 2015 when I would hear odd voices and deep, unsettling breaths through my inexpensive earphones while listening to music on my Samsung Core Prime. The sounds were more like slow-speaking voices rather than typical radio chatter, which makes this all the more puzzling. It only lasted for about two years, and as far as I recall, I was alone in experiencing this phenomenon. I live in a coastal village in France, and while I've encountered radio signals before, this felt different. If anyone has an idea about what might be happening or if similar experiences occurred, I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Are you sure you’re not just hearing things? Maybe it’s time for a check-up. Sounds like your meds might need adjusting.

You mentioned it happened even without music playing, which is really odd. It resembles something I've heard about before, where cheap earphones can pick up strange frequencies. It's possible you may have been experiencing a unique form of interference or something related to how those earphones worked. Plus, the fact that it happened again in 2019 with other earphones makes it even weirder. Who knows what the cause really was?

That sounds really creepy! Have you checked if anyone else around you has heard those voices? Sometimes people experience things like this due to interference, but it’s strange that no one else noticed it.

Nope, just me! It's really surprising since my family and friends in the village didn't hear anything.
