I'm currently building my first PC and I'm looking for recommendations on a good 870 motherboard. I'm planning to pair it with an MSI Suprim 5080 graphics card and a Ryzen 7 9800x3d processor. Any suggestions for motherboards that would work well with my setup?

Why are you specifically looking at an 870 motherboard? Have you considered options like the B850 or X670E? Those could be solid alternatives depending on what you need.
If you don’t need USB 4.0, I'd recommend going with a B850 motherboard. It's got PCIe 5.0 support and will likely be more beneficial for your long-term needs. But if USB 4.0 is a must for you, then check out MSI's X870 PRO-P or X870 Tomahawk if you're willing to spend a bit more.

No specific reason! This is my first build, so I just thought I’d go with the latest and greatest. I want something that will be good for the future too.
