I'm on the lookout for a good gaming headset with a mic that won't break the bank—preferably under $100. If possible, I'd love it to be wireless, but I understand that could be tricky for this budget. I also have a thick desk (about 150mm+) to consider, and I want to avoid using gaming headphones that just don't perform well.

You might want to check out the Koss Porta Pro, KPH40, or KSC75, or even the Philips SHP9500. If you pair any of these with a USB condenser mic like a Fifine or Maono, you can create a solid setup for under $100!
The Philips SHP9500 or 9600 are fantastic options—they're priced around $50-70 and you can easily add a V Moda boom mic from Amazon for around $20.
I found a used PC38x for only $95, and it's been amazing! If you're okay with looking for used options, you can snag some great deals.
Did you get that on eBay? Sorry if it sounds dumb, but I had a bad experience with a scam in the past and I'm cautious about it now.
