I work at a company that relies heavily on M365 for various tasks, and we often lease laptops for training classes using the free version of M365 online. However, today while setting up those laptops, I noticed that the apps tab in the accounts for these laptops is now empty, and when trying to access apps directly in the browser, it says the accounts lack permission. Interestingly, my personal account, which is also unlicensed, still works fine. Has Microsoft disabled access to the free version of M365 Online for enterprise accounts?

Have you spoken with your M365 admins? They might have intentionally disabled the web apps for those accounts.
Yeah, it seems like Microsoft has restricted access to free web apps for enterprise accounts lately. It might be a change they rolled out recently. Definitely worth checking their official channels for any updates on this.
I thought so too! I was using it fine last week. Maybe they are changing licensing rules or something.
From my experience, any unlicensed account usually doesn't have access to those features. New accounts might get some trial, but it sounds like you've hit the limit there.
You could try accessing it through a private browser session. Sometimes it helps with cache or permission issues.
I actually have admin access and checked everything looks normal on my end. It feels like Microsoft might have just shut it down for enterprise accounts.
