Which Linux Distro Should I Choose for Gaming and Projects?

I'm trying to choose a Linux distribution that fits my needs since I'm tired of surfing through recommendations. I do a fair amount of gaming and work on personal projects, so I'm looking for something that lets me customize and control my setup, but I also want it to be stable. I've seen a lot of love for Linux Mint, but then there's Arch which is praised for its customizability and low resource usage. My concern about Arch is its potential stability issues. I'm open to learning and tinkering, but I'd rather not spend all my time fixing things that used to work. I'd love any advice on which distro might be the best fit, so I can finally stop the endless research and just get started!

Have you checked out Cachyos? I think it’s pretty amazing!

Arch is quite stable, contrary to what some think!

Honestly, the distro you choose might not matter as much as you think. Almost every distro can be customized extensively. If stability is your top priority, you might want to skip Arch and look at Debian or Fedora instead. They might have slightly older packages, but they’re solid. Just dive into Linux and start exploring! Oh, and make sure to back up your dotfiles; that’s where all the real customization happens!

You might find Ultramarine or Nobara interesting as they blend features well.
