Why Are My Burned CDs Making Songs Sound Garbled?

I'm having trouble burning CDs on my Mac using an LG slim DVD burner and CD-R discs. Most songs turn out fine, but a few of them sound garbled after burning. I've tried using iTunes, Finder, and Express Burn NHC software for the burning process, but I'm still facing the same issue. The audio files sound good on my computer, so I'm wondering what could be causing the problem. Any suggestions?

It might be the discs you’re using. Are the garbled songs the same ones each time?

Yes, it's always the same few songs. I'm using the same MP3 files.

Garbled sounds often come from the source MP3s being encoded with variable bitrate. Try finding a version that's encoded at a fixed bitrate, like 128kbps, and see if that fixes it.
