I'm having an issue where my display scaling is set to 125% in Windows settings, but every time I open my laptop lid after closing it, the scaling jumps back to 100%. This also occurs if I set the scaling to 150%. My current laptop runs Windows 24H2 with a Ryzen 5 Pro 4650u, and this problem also happened with my previous laptop which had a Core i5 8365u. I think this might be a bug introduced in the 24H2 update since it didn't happen in 23H2. I've shared a screen recording of this issue in the comments for reference.

If you have any external monitors connected, that could be causing the problem. Each monitor can save its own scaling settings. Test your setup with the scaling set the same with and without an external display plugged in.
Try disabling any "Display enhancement" features in your graphics settings (Intel or AMD). Make sure to update all your drivers through your OEM’s tools. Also, check your Advanced Power Settings under "Lid close action" to see if it’s triggering a mode switch that causes this issue.
The option might have a different name based on your GPU model. Check for any options related to graphics optimization, image sharpening, or dynamic contrast in Intel Command Center or AMD Radeon Software.
