I've been using my AirPods for about 10 months now, and I've noticed that the left one drains its battery way quicker than the right. To be specific, the left one uses about 80% of its charge while the right one only uses around 40% in the same amount of time. Can anyone explain why this might be happening?

It sounds like your AirPods might be experiencing some battery wear, especially since they've been used for nearly a year. AirPods have small batteries that can wear out over time. Have you checked if both AirPods are fully charged before you start using them?
If they're both at 100% when you start using them, it's likely just a sign that one of the batteries is failing. Since you mentioned the left one runs out faster, it might be time to consider getting them looked at or even replaced if the issue continues.
