I've had a nightmare with my Instagram account getting hacked. All my email and phone number details have been changed, and despite my attempts at contacting customer support through the official hacked link, emails just end up going to the hacker. I even bought Meta verification to talk to their customer service, but they just keep telling me to use that link, ignoring the fact that it sends me to the hacker's email. To make things worse, Meta has temporarily restricted me from filing any more reports. I'm really at a loss here. Is there any way I can recover my account or at least prevent the hacker from exploiting it further?

Unfortunately, it seems like Meta really needs to step up their support game. Would recommending they help you get this sorted out be worth trying again? Sometimes persistence can pay off even if it’s frustrating. Additionally, make sure you're using different passwords for everything else and enable two-factor authentication wherever you can. That might help protect your other accounts while you deal with this mess.
I've heard that using a password manager can really help with keeping everything secure and different. Have you considered trying that?
