Help! My New GPU Isn’t Being Recognized in My PC Build

I just finished building my new PC, but my GPU isn't showing up in either Task Manager or Device Manager—only the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter is listed. I've connected my monitor to the GPU's display port, and I'm seeing that the GPU is seated correctly since the RGB lights are on and the fans are spinning. I'm not connected to the internet yet because my old PC is using the ethernet cable.

Does anyone have suggestions on what might be going wrong or how I can troubleshoot this? Here are my system specifications:

- Motherboard: ASUS TUF Gaming B850-Plus Wifi (drivers up to date)
- GPU: MSI Gaming Trio OC 5070Ti
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
- PSU: Corsair RM850x (3.1)

One thing to note is that I'm not using the 12v2x6 cable that came with the PSU. Instead, I bought a 90° cable from Corsair to connect it to the PCIe ports. Corsair's support confirmed this is okay, but I want to make sure it's not the reason for the issue. Before I start swapping cables and undoing my cable management, I'd love to hear any thoughts or insights!

Have you installed the GPU drivers yet? That’s usually the first step to getting it recognized properly!

Oh wait, can I download those drivers onto a USB stick using my old PC? This is my first time setting everything up myself!
