I'm looking to upgrade my current graphics card because I've been facing some performance issues. I recently got two AW2725 monitors and my RTX 3070 is really struggling to keep up. It's hitting temperatures of 85°C and shuts off when I play anything more demanding than Minecraft without shaders. My main uses include coding in Unreal Engine 5 and 3D simulations for university, plus playing Minecraft with shaders and some less intensive games like War Thunder and Kerbal Space Program. I mostly focus on one monitor but keep the other for browsing. Will an RTX 5070 Ti be a reliable upgrade for running both monitors at 4K 165Hz?

I second what others are saying. A 5070 Ti will work just fine for your setup. The issue right now seems to be the overload on your 3070. You might want to consider cooling solutions more than just a new card if it’s struggling that much with heat.
From what I see, the 5070 Ti is more than capable for the titles you’re playing. Your 3070's overheating likely isn't about the monitor setup—it's probably the shaders in Minecraft bringing it down. Just manage those temps and you'll be good!
Absolutely, as long as you’re not pushing both monitors hard at once, the upgrade should be smooth.
Honestly, your RTX 3070 sounds like it's malfunctioning if it's overheating that much. But a 5070 Ti should handle those games at 4K quite well. Just be mindful of heat issues—you might want to check the cooling on your 3070 first before upgrading.
Yeah, 5070 Ti has a good reputation for value right now! It should fit your needs nicely, especially since you're not running both monitors at full capacity all the time.
I suspect it’s definitely a cooling issue with the 3070. My 1080 Ti holds below 80°C while gaming at 4K. You should check your setup!
The 5070 Ti should easily manage your needs for both monitors, just make sure to keep an eye on performance. It’s a solid card for the kind of gaming and productivity you’re doing. You’ll likely see a significant improvement!

I’ve had similar issues with my graphics card after switching PSUs and repasting, so I feel for you. I'd say the 5070 Ti will meet your requirements well, especially usage-wise.
