I've been traveling with a friend who uses AirPods, and I keep getting these notifications saying that 'AirPods are traveling with me.' While I appreciate the intention behind these alerts for privacy, it's getting a bit annoying. I can temporarily pause the notifications for a day, but I'd prefer a more permanent solution. I don't want to disable my friend's ability to find her AirPods, which is the only other option I see available. Is there a way to set FindMy to ignore or trust these AirPods for longer than just one day?

I didn't know this before, but if you don't want to receive these notifications, you can disable the AirPods that are tracking you. Your friend can always use her own phone with FindMy to locate her AirPods. If she needs help finding them and doesn’t have her phone for any reason, you can help her log into your FindMy, but just to locate them, not to use your account permanently. Hope that helps!
It sounds like your friend should be using her own iPhone to track her AirPods. If her phone is with you, it might be why you're getting those notifications, unless somehow her AirPods are linked to your account. Normally, if the AirPods are with their actual owner, other iPhone users shouldn't get notified. I doubt that any settings you change can stop her from tracking her AirPods with her device.
Ah, I see! The AirPods were originally mine, but I reset them so my friend could use them. I understand now that my phone could affect the notifications, but I just want to avoid interfering with her tracking ability.

Thanks for the input! I just don't want to disable her ability to track her AirPods since they’re just with me and everything is fine.
