Looking for Alternatives to AIMP with Speed Control Features

Hey there! I usually use AIMP for my music on Windows because I really enjoy adjusting the speed, tempo, and pitch of my tracks. I've been searching for similar programs but haven't found any that work well—especially since VLC's audio quality drops significantly when speeding up the music. Right now, I'm running AIMP using Wine, which is decent, but I'd prefer to find a native application if possible. Any suggestions? Thanks!

You might want to check out Audacious. There's an ongoing discussion about its capabilities regarding playback speed control [here](https://github.com/audacious-media-player/audacious/issues/757). It could be worth looking into what features they might add or improve.

Have you tried mpv? It's a lightweight media player, and it's pretty good at handling playback speed. Although the GUI might seem simple, it has a lot of features that you can access through settings and commands. It might take some getting used to, but it’s worth checking out!

Audacity is another option you could consider. It’s primarily an audio editing software, but it does have speed control functionalities. Just keep in mind, it’s not really built for playlists, so it might not be the most practical choice if you want to listen to a lot of tracks back-to-back.
